Popping that pimple
can leave a lasting scar!

Squeezing can push the contents deeper and damage the skin underneath. There’s a better way to deal with the breakout.

Here’s what
the squeeze can do.

Some of it comes out. Some of it can be pushed deeper, increasing inflammation and damaging the surrounding skin.

Why can that leave a scar?

A pimple starts with a pore blocked by oil and dead skin. Acne-causing bacteria and inflammation can turn it into a red, swollen spot.

Squeezing can push the contents into surrounding skin and cause further injury. That increases the risk of lasting scars. A flat dark mark and a change in skin texture are different, and neither is something you want to add to the breakout.

Apply → Leave 2 min → Rinse Two minutes is the contact time. Results build with regular use.
What does “micronised” change?

Micronisation means reducing an ingredient’s particle size. Rapid Clear uses smaller benzoyl peroxide particles designed to reach into the pore, where the ingredient targets acne-causing bacteria.

The formula also includes glycolic acid for buildup, plus ceramides and soothing ingredients for skin support. They have different jobs, so you get more than a wash that simply removes surface oil.

A difference you can
measure in 7 days.*

Clinical results from a six-week study with 36 adults.

After 7 days 47%

Smaller
acne lesions*

After 6 weeks 78%

Fewer red,
raised pimples*

*Rounded study averages. Individual results vary.

What exactly did the study measure?

The 42-day split-face study enrolled 36 adults aged 18 to 30 with moderate to severe acne. The tested wash was left on one half of the face for two minutes, twice daily. A comparison wash was used on the other half. Participants also used moisturiser.

The report records a 47.1% average reduction in lesion size at Day 7 and a 78.4% average reduction in papule count at Day 42. Papules are red, raised pimples. Measurable changes were recorded from Day 4. These figures do not mean that every person will get the same result.

Still wondering?

I already popped it. What now?

Leave it alone and keep the area clean. Do not apply Rapid Clear Facewash or other acne actives directly to broken or bleeding skin. Let the area heal first. Get medical advice if pain, redness or swelling increases, or you notice signs of infection.

Will it disappear after one wash?

No. Two minutes is how long you leave the wash on, not how long acne takes to clear. The clinical study recorded changes from Day 4, with improvement over six weeks of regular use.

Is this for every kind of pimple?

Rapid Clear Facewash is designed for active acne, especially red, inflamed breakouts. It is not a solution for existing deep scars. Large, deep, persistently painful lumps or acne that is leaving scars need a dermatologist’s assessment.

Can benzoyl peroxide dry my skin?

It can. The formula includes ceramides and soothing ingredients, but sensitivity varies. Patch test, moisturise and follow the pack directions. Stop if you develop burning or persistent irritation. Benzoyl peroxide can also bleach fabrics, so rinse thoroughly.

Can I use it with my other acne products?

Avoid adding several new actives at once. Salicylic acid, retinoids and other exfoliating products can add to dryness or irritation. If you already have a prescribed routine, check with your dermatologist before adding Rapid Clear Facewash.

Can I use a pimple patch too?

A patch can help protect a spot from touching and picking. Follow its directions and apply to clean, dry skin. Keep benzoyl peroxide and other acne actives off broken skin, and do not layer them under a patch unless its directions allow it.

How often should I use the wash?

Follow the directions on your pack and adjust with professional guidance if your skin is sensitive. The clinical study used the wash twice daily, followed by moisturiser. Consistency matters more than scrubbing harder or leaving it on for longer.
